The data of 31,912 patients of the Finnish psychotherapy clinic (Vastaamo.fi) was publicly leaked on May 9, 2021.

While leak became known in October last year, when patients of the clinic began to receive letters demanding a ransom ($200) for not publishing the content of their communication with psychotherapists, the actual incident goes back to 2018. Data has been kept by hackers ever since and used for blackmailing.
The compromised data contains: full names of patients, their physical and email addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers(SSN), amounts paid for the appointment and a summary of communication with psychotherapists (in Finnish)
